Two Ingredient Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream For Your Dogs (and you)
AuthorJohnna
Ingredients
8bananas
1cupall-natural peanut butter, creamy
Instructions
Peel and slice each banana.
Place slices on a baking sheet and freeze until firm.
Put frozen banana slices in high speed blender, such as a VitaMix or Blendtec or bowl of food processor fitted with an "S" blade. Start on low, gradually increasing speed to high. Process just long enough that bananas are creamy. The texture will be similar to soft serve ice cream.
Mix in peanut butter at this point. I prefer stirring in by hand. Processing any longer makes the banana mixture more warm, less frozen.
Spread mixture into an 8 x 8 baking dish. While mixture could be eaten now and will be the consistency of starting-to-melt soft serve ice cream, I prefer it a bit more solid. Place baking dish in freezer and freeze a minimum of two hours. I like it frozen overnight.
Alternatively, you can portion this out into individual servings at this time, placing it into small containers like this. This recipe makes a minimum of 8 generous servings. Decide on the serving size based on the size and appetite of your dogs or humans.
