Tour de Donut 2019

The Fifth Biennial Donut Tour of Kansas City’s best locally owned donut shops and bakeries hosted by Johnna will be held on Saturday, April 27th. We will meet at 8am at Donutology, 1009 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO. Our departure time is 8:30.

Please park in the parking lot to the north of Donutology in the Westport Landing parking area. (You may wish to use this address for GPS guidance: 1000 Westport Road.) Please use caution when walking across the street to Donutology. Each car attending will receive a Tour de Donut sticker and route guide. Expected finish time is 11am to 11:30am. 

NEW THIS YEAR: Tour de Donut will have an international theme. We’re taking a drive through America, Australia, Poland, Germany, Vietnam and Lebanon before returning to the United States. There are two registration options: 

1. Pay-as-you-go for a donut at each of the six stops. Once we leave the first stop, this becomes risky as donuts sell out quickly on Saturdays. The third, fourth and fifth stops are making donuts available only to pre-paid Donut Passport orders; it is unlikely anything will be available for you to purchase at these stops. Please make sure you add your name to the RSVP list with number of cars and donut fans here. RSVPS will close on April 18th; no registration at Tour de Donut, please. REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. No day of registration, please. 

2. Pre-Purchase a DONUT PASSPORT for $14. Each passport includes the featured donut at each stop on the route, a total of six sweet treats. The donut shops and bakeries we are visiting have selected the best of the best especially for Tour de Donut and will have them ready only for those who have purchased a Donut Passport. You might want to share your passport with a friend if six sweet treats is too many…or you might want to bring along a food storage box to take all of your partially nibbled treats home for later! Tour de Donut Passport sales and RSVPs will end on April 18th. No day of registration, please.
