Food on a Stick #14, Egg on a Stick with Mark

Here I am again, photo-less in my attempt to document 52 Foods on a Stick. 

The Egg on a Stick is an interesting entry on this list.  It’s one of those items that has been impaled only because people at Fairs will buy anything on a stick.  A few years ago at the Iowa State Fair I saw a caricature artist selling “Kid on a Stick.”  It was simply a caricature drawing attached to a popsicle stick, but it got the artist an NPR mention. 

A hard boiled egg would be just as easy to eat not on a stick, but putting it on a stick makes it much more appealing.  Unless of course, it’s a deep fried egg on a stick or something like a Scotch Egg. I think that would make it much more fitting in the Food on a Stick category.
