This weekend, June 29th and 30th, is Maker Faire KC. I’m so excited to share with you the schedule of healthy food demonstrations that will take place in the Science City Test Kitchen.
The line-up of collaborators sharing healthy eats is impressive! Renee, my cohort in many cooking classes and farmer at Amu Acres, is joining me to show how simple it is to brew Kombucha at home. Loren of Fahrmeier Farms will share how to make a farm fresh dish with ingredients from their farm. Katie of Healthnut Foodie will demonstrate how to make two delicious seasonal salads. I’ll be there with allergen-friendly cupcakes demos and healthy pasta salad with grain-free noodles. And my favorite fella is showing his bike blender. He will be making smoothies and salsa with pedal power!

Oh, and the EEPY Birds, the guys that make the soda and mentos fountains. It’s the best use of those two ingredients I’ve seen yet. 😉
