Soften Saturday: Your Body is a Work of Art

One of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon is visiting an art museum.  While at the Crystal Bridges museum, I was struck by the many artistic representations of the female body.

Some are lithe, dancing with light:

Others are young and stoic.

And others represent powerful, strong, sturdy women.

If artists are willing to embrace the many varieties of the female body, we can be, too.  Talk a walk through an art museum and really look at the differences captured.  All are beautiful, all worthy.  Just like us.
