My Favorite Fella and I are celebrating our 25th Valentine’s Day together next month. Twenty-Five! We were such youngins when we started dating. After all these years, it does seem as though Love Is Timeless. Read on to find out a bit about how we are celebrating…
Thanks to the folks at Jord Wood Watches, I was able to give my favorite fella their Fieldcrest watch in dark sandalwood to celebrate the time we have to love each other. Some of our best times together happen in the kitchen, where I caught him chopping veggies for soup.
My favorite fella adores watches and was surprised to receive this as a gift. He wants me to share this information about his new Jord Wood Watch with you. He assures me it is important information for those who appreciate nice timepieces: the mineral glass is scratch resistant, the closure is a deployment buckle with push buttons, it has a two-pole stepping motor, runs on a silver oxide battery and has Citizen Miyota’s 2035 movement. From the look on his face, I took all of this to mean he really likes the watch and it’s quite nice. It sure looks sharp on his arm while he is chopping veggies.
I’ll share a few other tidbits for the non-watch collectors among us (like me): the wood on this watch is best cleaned with lemon or orange oil extract. And that gorgeous band? They will even size it for you when you order! Good luck being sneaky in measuring the recipient’s wrist without giving away the surprise though. I measured a much-loved watch in my fella’s collection with the handy measuring tool available on the website and it fit perfectly.
While I’ve shared what the men’s watches look like, there is also a women’s collection available. Lovely timepieces…and now that I’ve shared how to get the custom measurement while still surprising your love with a watch, I’ll hope my favorite fella remembers me on Valentine’s Day, too.

Wow! I didn’t know such watches existed. Very spiffy indeed. And how savvy of you to measure another watch of his.
