Boozy Advent 5 brings us to the best one yet, the Cinnamon Roll Cocktail. It does taste like a cinnamon roll in a glass. You’ll only need one of these though. Unlike eating a whole pan of cinnamon rolls, this is a one-only concoction. It’s boozy.
I used this recipe from The Farmwife Drinks. Things I know from being married to a food writer: don’t steal recipes and try to pass them off as your own and always share a link. The people who create recipes need you to visit their site to “keep the lights on,” as it may be. Johnna spends money every month to rent the space where her website lives and to a tech-savvy gal who makes sure all of the behind the scenes stuff is functioning. Some of her blog friends make their living with recipes, as they should. So click on the links, share them, tell your friends. But don’t steal their recipes, don’t cut and paste the recipes, share the link already. Here it is again, just in case, Cinnamon Roll Cocktail.
Ingredients: TWO. That’s it. Kahlua and Rumchata. This cocktail is super easy to make with an easy ratio with the recipe linked to above. You could easily make a batch of this to share since the recipe is an easily multiplied ratio. I mixed in a cocktail shaker with ice and then poured over ice. I added a sprinkle of cinnamon over the top and a cinnamon stick.
In case you missed the introduction, there is a Boozy Advent series going on here, written by Johnna’s Favorite Fella John. He’s sharing a cocktail each day, inspired by the Boozy Advent Tree purchased from Annie’s Barn. Follow along each day through Christmas for a new cocktail recipe each day!
Day 1: Bourbon Nog
Day 2: Kahlua Ginger Fizz
Day 3: Bourbon Cider
Day 4: Tequila Manhattan

We’ve heard from several friends who have made this one already. It’s definitely worth a trip to the liquor store!
